About Jeremie

A career in kiteboarding.

Jeremie grew up between the French Riviera and the Caribbean, where his father works as a painter. Surfing, diving and other water sports were part of his childhood, long before kiteboarding became his profession.

Introduced to a small foil kite by his uncle in 1999, he spent his afternoons practising on the beach. Unable to afford an inflatable kite, he built one himself with his uncle's advice and his grandmother's sewing machine. The project took more than three months.

Competition and teaching took him abroad, where photography and filmmaking became a second profession. He went on to produce Ride Along for television and establish the JT Pro Center on Union Island. Read his full biography or explore his earlier travel reports in the archive.
